I rode Perth’s last tram

I was lucky enough to be offered a tour of the headquarters and workshops for the Perth Electric Tramway Society in Whiteman Park. Operating since the 80s, they offer the unique experience of riding vintage trams on a purpose-made route throughout the park.

During the tour, I was given insight into their extensive tram collection, the process of restoring and maintaining the cars and additional tram history in Western Australia. At the end of the tour, I was given a ride on the E-Class 66 - the last tram to EVER run in Perth.

A big thanks goes to Shane and the rest of the society for allowing this video to be possible!
